In this high-tech era, computer technology is encapsulating all spheres of human needs and aspirations. The department of computer Science and Engineering, is headed by Mrs. Neena Sharma, M.Tech who has vast experience in teaching as well as experience on several industrial and government projects. The department has been organized to produce engineering graduates with high quality software engineering and programming skills. Laboratories: The department has in all four state-of -the – art computer Science laboratories, which are equipped with the branded hardware and software required for education and training on several different platforms and technologies. There are 375 Workstations and 7 Servers with adequate power backup. All the Laboratories are fully air- conditioned and connected on a LAN.
The Internet Access: We have a dedicated 1MBps Radio Link facilitating uninterrupted connectivity to the Internet. The Internet facility is available round the clock, which enables our students and faculty members to keep in touch with the latest trends in academia and the corporate world. The College has also planned to subscribe to INDEST in near future to provide its students and faculty the access to the vast e- books and journals.

Ms. Neena Sharma M.Tech. In computers, Heads the Computer Science Deptt. She is at present pursuing her PhD Degree where her 10 years of teaching experience is proving to be good. Her publication in various National Journals has been widely appreciated.

I am sure that the students will appreciate and understand that nothing succeeds like success. Where as a teacher I would like my students to excel in every field of Engineering there on the other hand I would feel happy and contented only if my students give priority in their lives to human values above self.
About the Laboratories
The computer lab is equipped with HCL TFT Computers – Licensed Software available as per AICTE-norms and course work. The department offers excellent laboratory facility with each student having an independent system to work with. The Center has State-of-Art Application Software environments like Oracle, RDBMS, Java, VHDL development kits, multimedia modules, and system software environment encompassing, windows, Unix and Linux operating systems, and compilers like C, C++, and Visual Studio. Laboratory activities are focused to enable the students to gain knowledge as well as hands on experience in different software environments. The department works closely with several major technology organizations to provide valuable insights on the industrial scenario to students to help them in focusing their energies in the right direction. The students are encouraged to take up projects using different platforms for providing latest technology updates to students, participatory projects training, and exposure to work environment and culture.
The Department actively participates in the technical skill development program organized by Infosys, IBM, and EMC. Which helps the students to upgrade the knowledge and also helps them for better OnCampus/OffCampus placement
