About CSE Department

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering started in 2005. The B.Tech course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to MDU UNiversity

The Department is headed by Mrs. Neena Sharma as far as Department is concerned, academic standards and placements are the two key parameters. Our academic standards have been achieved by the intellectual property of our faculty. The faculty strives to foster and encourage a teaching methodology that is both practical and theoretical in approach. This orientation has led to successful training and placements.

The reason students select Computer Science and Engineering is not only because of the physical infrastructure, which is all there; but because of the soft factors. Soft factors like our approach to academics, our intellectual property, training and placement. The quality of academic instructions, conduct guidelines and college activities are designed to produce competent and successful engineers. In the Department the focus is on preparing professional engineers. As they say an engineer is for today, while a professional engineer is for ever.

Laboratories
The dept. offers training in front end and back end technologies in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology through an elaborate set of laboratories consisting of the following:

• Operating System Lab
In the operating system Lab students implement CPU utilization algorithm & programming, memory allocation & de-allocation. They are also implementing screen saver, system calls & interrupt handling.

• OOP’S Lab
In the OOP’S Lab they implement application program using J2EE for the maximum utilization of CPU using Multithreading, Java applets, JDBC concepts.

• Computer Graphics Lab
In this Lab students perform the image & pixel level execution, different algorithms implementation for handling the graphics application.

• Data Base Lab
In this lab oracle 10g is used to perform all the Database operation like database design creation at structure log file, control file and also DML, DCL, 7C4 DDL commands of Database in oracle 10g.

• WEB Technology Lab
All the advance experiments based on the Internet application, server side implantation with the help of web server and detail working of web server , Data Base server.
 
• Compiler Design Lab
In this lab the complete concept of compiler design working and implementation using different tools like ( Yacc etc..)

• Network Security Lab
All the cryptography algorithm are implemented for data encryption & description like RAS etc using the J2EE5, Turbo C++, Linux Enterprise Edition also net security technique.

• E-Commerce Lab
In E-commerce lab student implement the & implementation of E-Commerce Concept using J2EE, JWS, Money Transaction using Cryptography Technique.

• Information System Lab
In IS Lab different technique used for Information System implementation using the oracle 10g, oracle ID’s tools & other IS tools are used.
• ACA Lab
In ACA Lab all the experiments are based on the architecture level to improve the execution time by implementing different parallel computing technique in c-language over Linux.

• Project Lab
This lab is having very good computing power with latest H/W & S/W like ORACLE 10G, J2EE1.5,MATLAB 7.0,ViSUL STUDIO 2008,JWS ETC.

• Artificial Intelligence
AI lab experiments are implemented using visual Prolog, Lisp. List of Experiment BT, Expert System, Neural Network, Searching Technique like (A,A*, Heuristic etc.)

• Network Lab
In this lab different simulator are used to learn & implement the concept of n/w technology LAN, WAN, MAN & Data Communication. Including s/w & h/w like LAN TRAINER KIT, DELFNET2.0 Simulator for all network concepts(topology, collision detection, Data rate)

• Software Engineering Lab
Rational Rose, WIN Runner Lotus notes, IBM TESTING TOOLS Software Engineering tools are used for testing & for other software development life cycle concept.

• C Language lab
In this lab fundamental of programming concept like data types, Conditional & Control statement, Array, Structure, Union are
implemented using Turbo Compiler C++. New Lab Set Up 1. Data Mining Lab – This is the new lab introduced in computer center.

Multimedia Lab -
Multimedia lab is designed to give exposure about various multimedia software like Dreamweaver Flash, Maya, Adobe- Photoshop, Premier, Pagemaker, 3DMax and various animation tools.

All the above labs are equipped with latest systems, six powerful serves networked in three different environments – Linux, Windows – NT & Novell Netware. Students also get access to the cyber world of information through Internet to keep pace with the latest developments in their respective fields. We provide Internet facility to the computer center in all the labs and one lab completely dedicated as Internet Lab.

Full time- 4 year graduate degree program approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, and Govt. of India and affiliated to M D University, Rohtak.
